Dr. Sam bought the hospital in 2010 after practicing for many years in Ft Worth. After selling the clinic in 2017, he worked part-time beside his daughter, Dr. Lauren, giving all of the patients and clients the best care until his retirement from veterinary medicine in 2020.

Meet Dr. Lauren Adams! Dr. Lauren graduated from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008, and came to Cornerstone in 2011 to practice with her dad. In the spring of 2017, she became our new owner when she bought the hospital from Dr. Sam. She was honored to receive the Best of Stephenville award in 2021 for the category of Veterinarian. Dr. Lauren keeps her plate full between being a mom, owning the hospital, practicing medicine and giving the patients and clients the best possible care! We couldn’t do it without her!
